Los Angeles – Los Angeles Dodgers First bass Freddie Freeman was out of line -up on Monday evening against Atlanta Braves After slipping into the shower and injury to his surgically repaired right ankle.
“He had little misfortune in the shower,” said Dave Roberts. “A little bit of a little increased.”
The MVP 2024 World Series MVP was injured at home last weekend and came by Sunday a day out of day.
Before the accident, Roberts said that Freeman’s ankle “was not 100%, but apparently, the way he turned the bat in a good place.”
Freeman is 3 Pro 12 with two home runs and four RBI to start the season. He was scratched from the game of the Dodgers season in Tokyo because of the discomfort of the left rib.
“He feels he could go there and play, but let him get him back a little and see how he is tomorrow,” Roberts said. “For the most part he is always kicking and screaming (playing)
Freeman out of his right ankle on the game at the first base at the end of September and fought in the first two rounds of Postseason, but during the world series it was hardly obvious. In the first four games he was playing and had 12 RBI when Dodgers beat New York Yankees In five games.
Freeman underwent a debridement operation in December to remove the free bodies in the ankle.
Dodgers took the 5-0 record to their opening series against Freeman’s old team The Braves.
Freeman hits 0.299 with 0.939 OPS in 20 games against the team with which he spent the first 12 years of his career. In these games it has four homery, 12 RBI, four doubles, triple and 13 walks.
