Paige Bueckers took UConn to the final of four women’s basketball tournaments NCAA College basketball for a record period of 24th, gained 34 points in 78-64 victories over USC.
Freshman Sarah Strong added 22 points and 17 rebounds for Huskies, who also boasts a record raid of 11 NCAA titles, all under the Geno Auriemma coach.
Bueckers, assumed to be a selection 1 in the next month of WNBA draft, AP All-American has received honors this season and was appointed Big East Player of the Year for the third time.
The only thing she has to achieve is the national title after she and Huskies defeated Iowa and last year’s selection No. 1 WNBA, a university sensation of Caitlin Clark.
The last four place along Uconn on Monday evening were Texas, which for the first time since 2003 with a victory of 58-47 over TCU.
Texas for the first time won the regional finals in four attempts under the VIC Schaefer coach, who had previously made the last four trips with the state Mississippi.
Texas’s triumph ensures that three regional seeds No. 1 form Final Four, along with the advocates of South Carolina champions and the highest total seeds of the UCLA.
Southern Carolina put Duke on Sunday while the UCLA postponed LSU to advance to the female version of the College March Madness.
The final four games will be played on Friday, April 4, with Uconn to tease and Texas will be against South Carolina’s place in the championship game, scheduled for Sunday 6th April.

At the end of the regular season of the NCAA College Basketball, two 68 -duty tournaments – one for men and women – crown the NCAA 2025 masters.
The men’s tournament began in 1939, followed by a female competition in 1982, both offering the scene to some of the largest future basketball players.
