Lawyers argue that about 20 legal claims for historical abuse at the Club Celtic Boys Club were settled for a seven -seater amount.
About 30 survivors who allegedly suffered sexual abuse in playing for the boys’ club in the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Thompson Soliciters said that 70 percent of these cases have now been resolved and that other settlements are expected in the coming weeks.
Celtic – who had previously said that they were not responsible because the boys’ club was an independent entity – said they wanted to solve the cases last year.
In recent years, a number of higher data at the Boys Club Club, which was not formally associated with Celtic, has been convicted against adolescent players lasting decades. Celtic also said earlier that they were “horrified by any form of historical abuse”.
“Justice has finally been reached”
In his statement, Thompsons Soliciters said that “they fought on behalf of their clients for nearly ten years” and believe that “justice has finally been achieved”.

“This court dispute was a much more complicated and more lengthy defender, while our clients have been dealing with resolute dignity all the time.
“In the end, they have achieved success and can take this compensation as a confirmation that the club Celtic Boys’s club was indeed inseparably associated with the Celtic football club”.
