James Anderson is due to miss the first month of the regional championship, but believes he could play another three years.
England left them last year from an international cricket in England, but signed a one -year agreement with Home County Lancashire for the 2025 season.
A 42 -year -old man raised the calf injury in the pre -season training and expelled him from the first block of Lancashire matches in April, but Anderson believes he could play for another three years and under 45 years.
“I really want to focus on this year and do as much as I can,” Anderson said BBC Sport Tuesday.
“I don’t lead to playing on another or three years. I don’t think you should limit yourself.”

Anderson’s friend and former teammate Glen Chapple played in Lancashire up to 41 years, while Kent All-Rounder Darren Stevens was 46 when he played his last first-class match in 2022.
“I know my body can take a lot when it comes to bowling in a four -day cricket,” Anderson said. “I feel lucky to be in this position, I want to give as much as possible.”
Anderson’s international retirement last summer came after discussions with the English head coach Brendon McCullum, who wanted to adjust the bowling attack of his party to build towards Ashes 2025/26 in Australia.

But a skillful seam pitch, which turns 43 on July 30, said that the proving England is not a motivating factor in its decision to continue playing.
“The best part of the team sport is victory as a team, and if your focus is carried from it, it is not so pleasant, and you are not using well,” he said.
Anderson’s agreement in Lancashire also covers the explosion of vitality, which means that it could first appear in the T20 format since 2014. For this year’s IPL auction and hundreds of designs, it has not selected.
Anderson has not played any cricket since his farewell England test against Western India in Lord’s summer, while the 188-test veteran has enjoyed Stints as an English bowling coach since.

He does not have a formal coaching role with England, but he could still work with the team during the summer. His priority, however, will be played on Lancashire.
“I want to play well, so I told them,” Anderson said. “I want to give priority to playing cricket for Lancs.
“If there are opportunities throughout the summer, where they want me to come and do things, we have to cross the bridge.”
