Guardiola: Erling Haaland from Manchester City could miss 7 weeks


Manchester City PEP Guardiola manager confirmed this Erling Haaland can be on the siding for seven weeks with an ankle injury that has risen against Bournemouth in their Fa Cup quarterfinal.

“I would say it might be different if it was the end of the season (before the World Cup of the Club). So with all the injuries we had this season, I’m so sorry and Erling.

The statement issued by the city of Haaland’s injury on Monday evening read: “Erling underwent initial tests in Manchester on Monday morning and will now look for a specialized consultation to confirm the full range of injuries.

“The evaluation is still in progress to find out full prognosis. Erling is expected to be in time to play another role in the remaining part of this season, including this year’s FIFA Club World Championship.”
