Chief coach Nottingham Forest Netball Chelsea Pitman says he is supported by the Premier League football club to “want to push the ceiling”.
Forest is one of the eight teams of the reworked Netball Super League (NSL), which is the beginning of the new chapter for home Netball in the UK in the first campaign when the division moves towards professionalization.
Forest Netball players spent time with a female football team on a training field and can use facilities and professional club structures.
“To see Netball players are really important after their business, especially with the knowledge that we are not like a sport, it is really great, that they want it,” said Pitman Sky Sports News.
“We are a long, long journey, but for us to get into it, we see it and dream and strive to push the ceiling to get there is a really amazing place.”
Nottingham Forest on Friday at Netball Super League fell to defeat against Manchester Thunder to 65-81 defeat and handed his rivals second for victory.
The eight -time Olympic champion Usain Bolt took part in Manchester Belle Vue Arena.
“We didn’t have a great start and Thunder is a team with which you can’t afford to be on the back of the leg,” Pitman added.
“It’s so hard to beat them, especially at home. If someone was in the Belle Vue Arena, it’s so loud that you don’t even hear you think.
“We got to the wrong leg, but then we combined some really nice stains of Netball, and I said it in our first round, you can’t play inconsistently or for 30 minutes at this level.”
“I am proud of how they changed and adapted and how everyone else came and did their job.
“Saja’s loss, but you will learn so much. If we can clean up the consistency and bridge the gap between what our best and not so good, we are in the brand and around it.”
Like Thunder, London Pulse also continued his winning lane and defeated Mavericks 78-42 to match the third consecutive victory.
“They look unstoppable with what they play,” Pitman said.
“But we know that sport, and if one player is not turned on, it can be someone.
“Pulse have a connection that have been together for so long, so it will be difficult. Funmi (Fadoju) has a great season and it seems that everyone works really well.
“It’s exciting for them, but I can’t wait to go against them.”

Former English captain Netball Pamela Cooky believes London Puls shows enough promise in the early stages of the season that could see how they reach the season at the end of the Great final in O2 in London Sky Sports.
So far, Pulse has scored over 70 in each individual game this season and has so far showed brilliant defense during the season.
“You’d be hard to put on them,” Cooky said.
“They weren’t supposed to start this league. They had to work and were still able to deliver.
“The accuracy and this continuing consistency after each center pass are definitely prepared for what we will see later in the line.
“The season will come thick and fast and you don’t want to say you are still evolving when you come to 10 or 11 rounds.
“Pulse is doing it now, which means they can improve.”
