Cincinnati – Nathan eovaldi built a four-hitter for the first complete game of the main season and Texas Rangers Gave up Cincinnati Reds 1-0 Tuesday evening.
Eovaldi struck eight and finished any game in her fifth career. Rightman threw 99 playgrounds, 70 for strikes.
It was Eovaldi’s first shutout since April 29, 2023 against Yankees and only a third of his career. According to ESPN Research, he became the first guard with several career shutdowns without walking in the last 30 seasons.
“I feel that at the fifth or sixth shift, my number of pitch was down, and I feel we had a really good game plan for it,” Evaldi said in his interview on Victory+. “I thought (Texas catcher Rye) Called a great game. During the whole game we were on the same page. ”

“I think these were the first pitch strikes,” Evaldi said as she asked what made him so effective. “But also, playgrounds outside speed. I was able to get some quick outputs and I really didn’t have many deep numbers. … and not walking, the boys help.”
Spiers gave up three hits in six shifts in his debut of the season. He struck five and went two for Reds who dropped to 2-3.
The guards moved to 4-2 and Langford was on the middle of everything. Now he has two home runs in six games to start the season. In 2024 it took him until the 29th season to Homer for the first time. Langford hit 16 Homers in 134 games last season during his newcomers.
